Hello,

I am a happy owner of GTX 1080 TI SC2 Hybrid card. At some point in the future I would like to setup a custom watercooling loop for both CPU and GPU. Since EVGA does offer GTX 1080 TI SC2 Hydro Copper Waterblock version of the card is it in plans to sell just the Hydro Copper Waterblock as an accessory similar to 1080/1080 FTW?

Thank you.

Well no luck here is a response:

    Hello,

Unfortunately, we do not have any information at this time on if a Hydro Copper waterblock for the 1080Ti will be sold as a separate accessory. You may want to check with other waterblock manufactures to see if they are offering anything that is compatible with your graphics card but we do not have any particular recommendation. We apologize for any inconvenience.

    Regards,
    EVGA

I hope they change their mind since they literally sell the cards with blocks.

You might get lucky and be able to buy a block off someone on these forums, but odds are you will probably need to go to EK or Swiftech and order a 1080 Ti block from them.

EK stated they have no plans for making waterblocks for 1080 TI SC2. Im not in a rush to upgrade, ill wait till there is a block from EVGA/EK/Someone else, or buy one of the supported cards later.

You sure that the 1080 Ti SC2 isn't the standard layout? I would have thought it was the default 1080 Ti layout, in which case anyone's block would work on it.

    1080TI SC2 have ICX doesn't it?
If so, It's a custom PCB as far as I know.
1080TI Gaming and (If I'm not mistaken) Black Ed. have the same PCB of the F.E.

    Case: Asus Z370-G Box / MB: Asus Z370-G / CPU: Intel I7 8700K / Mem.: 16GB (2x8) 3000Mhz Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 / GPU: GTX 1080TI FTW3 / A.I.O. W.C: EVGA CLC280 / PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA G3 750W

I think it is very close to one of the supported layouts atleast by EK. This thread outlines the issue: overclock.net/t/1629771/evga-1080-ti-sc2
