Hello Everyone

I have a GTX 1080 TI FE which I have put a EK waterblock on.

The system is now up and running but I am wondering if someone can give me some advice where to start with the overclocking

Kind Regards - Athy

Well i have some experiance with mining and gaming settings, less so with f@h. Alot of people do lower smaller increments and move up instead of down, the method they use but either way you wont hurt anything. Gaming max temp/pwr target i do +500-600 on mem and drop 50 mhz per.crash artifact. Should be able to get close to +450 or 500 on mem. The core i do +130 and back it off 10mhz till its stable. 2 founders on water 2050 and 2025 both + get 500 stable for games. Same method on my ftw3 air but 2100mhz on air.
With eitherium have cards at stock, launch miner oc mem too +1000 if crash tlre retry at +975 and profit, you may boost your core if you feel the need, prolly wont help much . But hashing at over 39 per card

Word of advice - (also called been there and done that)

Do Not set your OC software to save your settings and start automatically on reboot.  When you exceed the GPUs stable settings, you do not want those setting to load after your system hangs

    Other thoughts:

Stability starts with the power to your PSU, then your PSU quality, then the stability of your MB setup

So, make sure your Computer OC for the MB is rock solid before trying to OC the GPU

Watch your temps CPU and GPU

    1) Push the Power AND Temp Target sliders full Right, this sets the stage to allow Nvidia GPU Boost 3.0 to do its thing
