The Microcenter nearby has EVGA GTX 1080 Classifieds in stock, the 08G-P4-6386-KR model, selling for $699.99, and I think I'm going to run over and get a couple to replace the EVGA GTX 980SC's I had for quite a while now. I've been running them with a 1000 watt PSU and I've got a watt meter on the computer and I've never seen it show more than about 800-840 watts even when under load running both of my 28" 4K monitors. The EVGA watt 'calculator' says that I should probably have a 1050-1200 watt PSU, but I don't think the 1080 Classifieds would pull that much more wattage than the cards I've got now, especially since I run them at stock settings all the time. Does anyone think I would have a problem running them on the PSU that i've got?
