Sorry I asked this before but I lost the post does anyone remember what the port priority is for the GTX 1060 6GB FTW+?

    It helps a small bit but the 1060 GTX has a DVI port as well. so I'm assuming all the priorities are just shifted by 1 as DVI gets priority first?

    Hello vortex-5,

    It would be the same for 9 series, DVI > HDMI > Display Port (middle) > DisplayPort (upper) (nearest the top of the bracket) > DisplayPort (lower, nearest the bottom of the bracket).

    I ask because recently I've had my computer boot up twice and have no display until I unplugged and plugged back in the display port.
     
    It is very rare however.

    Are you using a TV or Computer Monitor?
    Sometime I have to remove the Power Cable from my Monitor to wake it up.

    Computer monitor an MSI G27C2 to be exact.

    This is the Computer World where it must be exact.
    I did not find a Firmware on MSI website to update your Monitor.
    You might have to test with different Video Cables.
    I have found less issues with the DP to Mini-DP Cable work best if your Monitor Supports a Mini-DP Port.
    But still sometime I have to Pull the Power Plug from the Monitor to wake it back up.
    Using so called "VESA Certified Display Port Cable" is a crock as well they also have the same Wake Up Issue.
    The only cables I have never seen this issue on is the DVD-D and the Old 15-Pin Analog Cables.
    95% of the Issue is on the Monitor side IMO and then 2% Cable and last 1% Port on the Graphics Card and the rest falls on the Driver.
    I do not use HDMI Cables so have now records to support whether it also has this Wake Up issue that Comes with using DP Ports and Cables.

    It's connected via the display port cable that came with the monitor
