Hello,

I have had my current PC setup for the past 3 years and am looking to upgrade the GPU without making any other upgrades.

Here is my current setup:

EVGA 122-CK-NF66-T1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i Ultra ATX Intel Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor BX80557E6600
EVGA 320-P2-N815-AR GeForce 8800GTS 320MB 320-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card
ENERMAX INFINITI EIN650AWT 650W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply
OCZ OCZ2G8004GK DDR2 800MHz 4 GB (2 x 2 GB) Gold Edition Kit

I would like to upgrade to either an evga 9800 GTX or possibly a evga 285 GTX if either would be compatible with my current setup.  Thanks for any input, or suggestions on where to find compatibility info for the 650i ultra mobo.

9800 is essentially the same as the current 8800 so not much to gain there.
285 is expensive ($300) and if your willing to spend that then just get a lower grade 400 series card.

Nice upgrade at a somewhat inflated price (rare to still find, hence the price) would be something like this GTX260:

Card is 11 inches long so make sure you have room in your case. A 260 barely fit in my case and I mean it was a wedge fit. LOl

Heck even solidly throw a GTX460 1GB into the mix, should be a nice upgrade and also close to the same price as the 260 above. DX 11 capable, 3D vision support, should hold you for a few years.

Me personally, I would go with a 400 series as it is a little more future proof for around the same price as the hard to find hence inflated prices of the 200 series cards.
