Greetings all, I decided to airbrush the fan shroud of my old G1 970. I use this as a PhysX card along with my 1070 FTW and I painted it to match my system color theme. I think it came out very well. The paint used was PPG Liquid Metal Silver. My case is also painted with this Silver.

    Thanks! I began painting back in 2012 as a hobby and learned basic airbrushing, it evolved to using automotive spray guns as well. It wasn't until this year in the spring that I decided to paint my PC case. I painted 80% of it myself except for the panels because of the difficulty with the graphics. I decided it was best to get them done by a professional (which I am glad I did). I decided to use that liquid metal silver because it was the best silver I could buy before going chrome. I originally wanted to spray it chrome but for just a pint of chrome was $500 and I needed at least 2 pints for the whole case project. So the silver was a bit overkill, but it was the fact of having the best of the best that is what I was aiming for. That why I choose EVGA as well
