Those are sweet looking cards. And thought I sort of trying to phase out of sli. A pare of them beauties would look sweet on a micro atx mobo. And still keep other slots available. I wish Evga would consider building a single slot 1070 card. Or It be cool if Evga would design a single
Slot cooler that would fit over a original 1070 card. I think there would be a demand for it. ICX coolers are nice and all but it seems that every vendors cards look the same nowdays.
I wonder if the pcb is the original one on the Galax card or a custom job. Me thinks its rather in house built.
Anyway, all in all I think its an awsome product. Great job Galax!

I really think this card is going to have problems with the temperatur because of the small surface and the very small fan could be pretty loud.

They shows these every so often, showed a single slot 260 and 570 now a 1070.
Never once have I seen a unit in use by anyone.

Considering there are full 1070 cards in laptops (e.g. EVGA SC17), I see no reason a single slot cooler couldn't keep up. It's only a 150w TDP.

If EVGA was looking for a way to differentiate themselves in the US market, a single-slot 1070 and 1080 would be one method.

Wow. These would be perfect for my current project. It's not easy cramming four full sized GPU's into a 2U server chassis.
