Is that a GPU WU or CPU? Almost sounds like a CPU WU.  But, regardless they ALL need to be completed. May your WU increase exponentially

Was for the 3090, got a regular unit after that that brought me back up in to the 6.8-8.5M PPD range if I were folding full time.

Yeah not as bad as you think Badger, if it is the first time you get one, the client takes a while to settle in on it. Still a low point unit but Fah usually adjusts the points if too low.

Yeah we're supposed to get hit with another round of snow & possible power issues as well, we'll see how it goes.  Least I'm not in Texas, they're getting it worse than we are.

Hi Troy, still missing a few posts before can do a PM. I did get the second card running (redid thermal paste! my first time) so is currently looks I'm doing a bit over 500K ppd total now.

I'm back on track for 11 million a day give or take. Fahcontrol says 12 million but I still reserve sone gaming time.
Had a minor glitch, cpu folding is crashing on me and a reboot ended up accruing points to a different team.

Yeah I'm not sure my initial estimate wasn't too high. Depends on how much gaming time I have it may be lower. I think I can pull 4.5mil but depending on what I do it could be closer to 4mil too. I really hadn't let it run since I got the 3080 after seeing it take off in December until now.

I got 2 computers now using the gpu as folding only and I am getting around 1.0m PPD on each of them. One of them is 24h folder and my main will fold 16h per day but not on weekends when I am off work since I play alot of games.

Points seem a little low, what’s the GPU in the 24 hour rig? Did you get your passkey entered in both rigs?

2080ti folding 24/7 should make 3.7M avg - it's peak should be about 5M

yes i estimated 12M a day - put im not getting perfect WUs all the time so PPD varies - goes down to 9M on the two 3090's
(it's not like the TZC where i was getting WU's that gave 8-9M on a single 3090...where are those units????...lol)
and i do use the computer with the 2080ti during the day or gaming
and i have to shut pause the rig with the 3090's to cook food - because they are on the same circuit as my kitchen
 
I plan on 2 more 3090's this year one in mid year after i rewire part of the house
 

Sorry guys, I won't be able to have the teams up and running tonight.  I had everything set to go and teams balanced to with in 0.1% of estimated PPD, then realized I forgot to take out menace33 who hasn't folded at all during the qualification round and thus would put his/her team at a disadvantage.  I've tried like 5 times to redivide the teams, but after working on this for several hours on top of a very long day I'm spent and literally been going in circles the last hour.  Its clear I'm much better off doing this first thing in tomorrow morning...

LOL....sleep well friend ....it's clear there are  issues with power failures and poor weather abound as well - waiting some time is not a bad idea
