Built a Folding Rig to test out NVIDIA Drivers to find the best for the GTX 6xx series Video Cards. No B-Stock GTX 780 as of yet.
I used my returned EVGA X79 FTW MB with an i7-3930K CPU OC to 4.0 GHz Corsair Vengeance Blue 16GB Memory CMZ16GX3M4A2133C11B
Same hardware that I had in my Old Rig but I am having issued with this MB like the PCIe Banks were turned off but one so I had issues with the two video card. Testing only on a GTX 660Ti (Fan Set to 70% NO OC) and using a GTX 650Ti for OS and Display use only.
I seem to have a BSOD issue with Driver 326.80 so I stated as far back with NVIDIA Drivers as Shown Below.
I takes a while to pull stats as I am pulling them live at 5% 10% increments for an Average.
I will update the below code every 5%. My HFM.NET Status x660TiDriverTest Slot 00

Doesn't look like much difference in PPD with the tests so far.
What are you pulling the info from v7 or HFM?
I see your update about HFM now never mind the question

FAH 7.3.6 using HFM.NET and set to pull every 3 minuets.
Driver 320.18 so far look the best but am also working the BSOD 116 problem as well.
Driver 326.80 & 320.49 Caused a BSOD 116, I have only ONE complete and that was while changing Drivers during a run.
Now I am hopping that I can complete one run on 320.18 after I installed the DirextX Runtimes then will give 326.80 a go.

My 760SC with a core bump of 125Mhz amd memory bump of 100Mhz.
    Project ID: 8900

     Name: 760SC Slot 00
     Number of Frames Observed: 300

     Min. Time / Frame : 00:04:49 - 79,679.5 PPD
     Avg. Time / Frame : 00:04:58 - 76,097.3 PPD
     Cur. Time / Frame : 00:04:51 - 78,237.8 PPD

With the OC looks like its bring in about the same TPF/PPD as the 660Ti.

Make sure the PhysX is updating and down grading to match the driver
I had problems in this area at one point when I was testing different drivers.
Some of the newer PhysX driver updates didn't play well with older drivers.

"Make sure the PhysX is updating and down grading to match the driver" This and doing a clean install with each driver.
Removing EVGA Precision X as well between each Driver and clearing out the Registry as well.
My 760SC are Crunching so I cannot really test them out, I also may stop Crunching and only Fold.
Is it or is it not good to OC the GPU whiles Folding, Crunching I have read Not to OC the GPU.
If I recall you use 326.80 as well for Folding on your GPUs.

OCing is not something I normally do to my GPU's, when I do its only around 100/150Mhz.
I never push them to there max cost to much to replace. Yes I'm on 326:80, no BSOD while folding.

Thanks, for what ever reason only this Rig is BSOD with 326.80 but this is also the only Rig I have two deferent GTX GPUs.
All my other Rigs are using 326.80.

Driver 310.90 did well on P7810 will let it run on P7811.
Driver 310.90 did as well if not better than the Driver 326.80 Beta Driver.

I had 2 bsod on the 326.80 today on W8. This is after folding and crunching fine for over 2 weeks. What OS is your test rig? I dual boot with W7 on a 2nd hdd and switched over and all is fine with drivers 320.49 there.

Only Windows 7, I have no need for Windows 8. But my P2 and P4 are on Ubuntu 12.04 and Fold only on the CPUs.
I do note that for almost 24 hours I was getting P7810 and P7811 and some nice PPD.
Now I am back to P8900 which takes 8-9 hours lower WS compared to P7810 and P7811 take only 2 to 3 hours to complete.
Driver 310.90 driver seems to work well on the 660Ti but once the current job completes I will install the new or current 331.93 Beta Driver. This takes a whole day on P8900 so I may not get to it today.
    I do wish I could block P8900.

If you didn't know Folding GPU in Linux has become quite simple to setup now.
I have only tested Linux Mint 14 and Mint 15 <=15 being much easier to get up to date drivers for GPU.
Only thing is you would need to find out what CPU core count is a prime stable core count to use, such as 40x CPU core is one.
This is my plain with the 4x 12 core CPU as my G34 board only has 1 PCI-e slot for a GPU.
Need to find out what other core count below 48 is prime stable, really hate to drop 8 cores for 1 GPU.

Yes, I did have one rig setup to fold only on GPU at one time.
Dropping 8 Cores would suck, but for only one GPU to fold on is it worth the PPD.
I only dropped folding GPUs on Ubuntu 12.04 because I could not update the Video Driver and keep the OS stable.
I am still a Windows user at hart and I if could Fold BigAdv on Windows I would drop Ubuntu 12.04.
After 3 times installed Windows 7 back on this rig and Fold only on the GPU's. That Rig is now gone and was replaced with a X79 Classified MB with 3 GTX 760 of which I should have kept the 3 GTX 660Ti because they are about the same as the 760 and now that is my Crunching rig at least till the end of the year.

There is alway VM folding in W7 for bigadv work units, you take a small hit on PPD, but really isn't that bad.
You can set the VM to use as many cores as you want leaving others open for GPU's.
"still need to find prime number of CPU cores tho" VMware && Linux bigadv folding

There may be ways of using more up to date Linux OS and GUI if you prefer that.
This is strictly terminal folding with this setup and VMware disk images: VMware Folding

I'm still using this on my 980x rig and folding 760SC with windows 7.
because in Linux I can get some Wu's that get better PPD than I can in the W7 folding programs.

Edit: Will update this post with pictures as soon as the Evga forum will allow seems to be problems with uploads at this time.

I use WTM to set processor affinity's for the VB and also the video card, Process Lasso will also work.

124? Blue Screen View says Hal.dll and Ntoskrnl.
I should add the hardware specs. 2500k @4.3 - 660ti oc to 1254 . 12GB ram. The CPU runs so sweet at this speed and the the 660ti is TheWolf's and seems like a great card.

124 vCore to low, or lower your GPU to 1200.
What is your vCore set at now?
For me to keep the Temps down I do not OC my GPU and only OC to 4.0 on the CPU.

I noticed a little instability with my 16 core 15 folding SMP
1 core for the GPU after adding the 480GTX a small bump
to the CPU vcore fixed it right up. I also notice back in my
1155 board days if allowing the CPU to drop speed was allowed
it was more of a chance of a occasional BSOD only seemed to happen
when the load was dropped and the CPU clock speed went down.

If you find a problem with the card I can help with a RMA.

vcore = 1.34 fixed. Temps are great on air.

Wolf, the card seems solid, no need for rma.

Just for precaution, I lowered cpu to 4.0 although still in W7 and have had no problems there. When all wu's finish I'll carry those settings to W8.

OCing is not something I normally do to my GPU's, when I do its only around 100/150Mhz.
I never push them to there max cost to much to replace. Yes I'm on 326:80, no BSOD while folding.

I'm the exact same way, I'm just a CPU overclocker, I leave my GPU's at out of the box settings, using 326.80 as well.

my GTX 770 gets between 90 - 100K on the P8900's.... though I don't use it for folding anymore as you know already lol

Every now an again I may enter a overclocking contest, then I will OC the snott out of my GPU's
but then the testing load is only for a few mins. at a time not 24/7 load like folding.

Testing 331.93 Beta Driver now will post results tomorrow night.
Looks like this driver is a FULL NO-GO ETA from 8 hours to 15 hours PPD from 69032.5 to 27577.9
I will let it complete but looks like NVIDIA Drivers are Not Supporting GPU Folding.
Or Could it be that Folding at Home is not keeping up with NVIDIA?

I wish I could but am now getting 116 BSOD on my Test Rig, good thing that it is only on this Rig.
Would it be that Hard for NVIDIA to create a Custom Setting on their Drivers for FAHClient.exe and or FahCore_??.exe
It will take 15 hours @ 400 Watts on one GPU and the PPD is down to only 23533 PPD and only 1.532 WUs.

^^^ doesn't look like nvidia will ever fix the folding performance problem so 326.80 is still the best drivers to use.

    Running 9% x660TiDriverTest Slot 00 Uniprocessor 00:09:24 23533 (1.532 WUs) 14:15:24 ZETA 17 P8900 (R440, C5, G4) 15361.8 0 0 bcavnaugh (111065) 12/2/2013 8:57 PM 12/9/2013 8:57 AM

BSOD 116 is not good man, I had that on a GTX 570 before I sent it in for RMA, thats ussually a sign that the card is dieing.

I now have 326.80 running after I moved the GTX 650Ti into Slot 4 and the GTX 660Ti into Slot 1 (Next to the CPU)
Still using the GTX 650Ti as the OS and also set as the PhysX Card and only Folding on the GTX 660Ti Card.
    Running 11% x660TiDriverTest Slot 00 Uniprocessor 00:05:21 67444 (2.692 WUs) 07:56:09 ZETA 17 P8900 (R256, C3, G18) 25057.3 1 0 bcavnaugh (111065) 12/5/2013 6:22 AM 12/11/2013 6:22 PM

I am now getting between 67000 and 73000 PPD and Credit of 25000.
Still have not found a GTX 780 Card for Testing and Folding and $400.00 is more than I would like to pay out this close to X-Mass.
For each New Beta or whql Driver that NVIDIA comes out with I will test them on this Rig and Post what I find.

Testing Driver 332.21 HFM At least I did Get a Core 17.

So far the Computer is not usable for other tasks.
I think that the Driver will crash sometime today, we will see.

    Ok, I follow you closely.
A friend gave me Crysis3 today, I wouldn't mind upping my 327.23 a click or two to get all the eye candy.

    OK
Issue one is the ETA is 15+ Hours, more then 2 times 326.80 Beta Driver.
    27609.9 PPD
    1.479 WUs
    18662.2 Credit
It is now at 69% and the ETA is 05:01:44 Hours.

Based on this I would say the 332.21 Driver is a NO GO for Folding for the GK104 GPU.

And now FH and NVIDIA Must Not be working to correct the driver problem for some of the older GTX 6xx and 760 770 cards this tells me that FH is really only supporting the newer GK110 and higher GPUs or is it NVIDIA Not?
Maybe AMD may Fold Better the NVDIA for the Money, I do not care for AMD so then that would lend to stop folding on GPUs.
    My 1/3 Cent.

    Ok THX bcavnaugh
    I find this quite distubing.
I see it like this, With current drivers, folding With GK104 is practically unsupported.
This is a huge drawback for reqruiting.
I think the GPU folding is the entrance to folding for most people.
When a new guy want to try this with his bright new and shiny 680 and with the newest driverset of corse, I'm not sure he gets addicted right away, not with the PPD he will see.
I beleive the most important donor reqruitment comes from gamers and their GPU's.

I'm surprised why PG doesent put more effort in optimization and welcoming fresh folders who want to give their new GPU's a try, especially now when they have given a great deal of bigadv donors the sack.
