Upon starting Project Cars 2 the logo on the 1080Ti FE will flash what appears to be a random pattern, finally shutting off all together. The light will come back on when I exit the game. This has not happened with any other program and it is repeatable. Any ideas? Thanks, Daren

It's probably a warning that it's time to change the oil.

Okay, that seemed to work. I oiled the card and then all the lights went out. The computer is also running a lot more quite, I can't even hear it any more. Or... I down loaded the visualizer, turned off the LED then started P-cars. The LED came on and started crazy flashing again. Maybe it's a Project Car issue?

Sorry about that, but even though it's April 2'nd, I couldn't resist. (Also, the change oil warning just came on in my car today.)

GFE on Google search comes up as GirlFriend Experience. I'll assume that is not what you meant.

GeForce Experience. The most annoying software nvidia can offer you for free.

I shall remove the Geforce Experience. In the mean time the GirlFriend Experience may need further investigating.

Removed GFE. Turned LED down to two. Started Pcars. LED went crazy, then shut off. Exited Pcars. LED is now full brightness. Seems to be a Pcars issue. I will investigate.

I know there is an email for the nvidia driver team so they can investigate things like this. I will try to find it later, so that maybe they can also investigate what kind of wizardry is occuring. Its probably the girlfriend experience killing your leds... lol

The logo can go out and come back on when the nvidia driver crashes and recovers. You can file a bug report with nvidia here & nvidia will investigate the issue.
