Use linx to test that will really stress out your components, then youlll know if your temps are too high :) Btw- post up your volts, vtt, cooling method, and ht on/off

i have a feeling your gonna peak your temps a tad high. your minimum idle temps seem very high 55c+? if so maybe either lower your OC or turn HT off. Although it will depend on ambient temps and set up as well, linx would normally add 20-35c to idle temps on water and more on air. Please be careful and take note that 85c is the limit for these procs. good luck.

Your TJ max setting should be 100.... not 85, you are not getting correct temps with that setting in core temp.

What exactly is the TJ Max thing? When I downloaded RealTemp the default was 90... I figured those temperatures would be accurate. I went into the settings and manually changed it to 100, and my temps jumped, accordingly, about ten degrees. Uhh...?

Ah. Well, I guess it's kinda confusing having the temperature reading based off of that... I'm not sure whether mine is actually set to 90 or 100, but either way, that shouldn't affect what my temperature actually is. I supposed that RealTemp would actually just report the temperature, but I guess it could be off by ten degrees and I'd have no idea.

"this is a quote from the real temp techpower up site" Set TJMax Intel does not publicly document TJMax for their desktop processors. They have documented TJ Target for many of their processors but using that number as TJMax may result in reported temperatures that are less accurate. The default TJMax that RealTemp uses is usually a good place to start. Use this feature if you think that TJMax needs to be adjusted. Any value between 70 and 120 is acceptable. end quote" The best vaule that I know of to use for I7 920 processors is 100c. accuarcy is difficult because Intel doesn't publish the TJmax of thier processors. http://www.techpowerup.com/realtemp/docs.php
