This is the memory I currently have G.Skill. My build is in my sig obviously. I just upgraded to win7 64bit and added a GTX 460 1gb SC. Also the Noctua HS is new too. I was just wondering what would be a good memory upgrade. Should I buy another pair of the memory I have now and add them? Or go with something completely different? The build is used mostly for gaming.

rlkd82 I think you'd see a larger overall system improvement by getting an ssd. LoL grabbing a whole new system's a bit out there . Falcon_CMH I would save your money and my next upgrade if I were you would be a platform change to the i7/x58. I would love to do such an upgrade but I have to save up for an engagement ring first! Hmmmmm... Girl or my comp.... And rlkd.... Could you be more specific with what you are suggesting with "getting an ssd" Thanks.

Keep an eye out and you can get some decent deals on ssd's. Which would help with overall, synthetic and real world usage of your system. Newegg is a great place to check prices against any deals you can find out there. Use the ssd as your primary hdd, and use your caviar as storage. IMO see a larger impact on performance with an ssd, over additional ram.

Solid State Drive (no moving parts)...as opposed to a mechanical drive = faster speed.

Okay, is this what you had in mind? And here is a silly question but since my OS is on my Western Digital SATA HDD would I have to reinstall the OS on to the SSD? I'm not sure how to incorporate the SSD into my system

It would probably be best to do a fresh install on the new drive...and you'll probably want one larger than 80GB's.
