Should i build in a older EVGA DG-87 or go with a smaller case and sell the Dg-87 as it seems to still be sought after and worth something on the market (also taking suggested price with and without shipping ) Thanks for any input

If you still like it and it would work for you keep it. Maybe the only thing you have that’s from EVGA one day as you upgrade over time.

All shipping has gotten totally out of hand because of the new standard of using "dimensional weight" to add a surcharge to the actual weight - shipping a case will be very expensive Price? check ebay & other platforms

If someone offers you a good price then sell it. You could also keep it as a collector's item.

As mentioned by other(s), shipping is insane for large items now. Even if you don't use it, it's likely not cost effective selling it because of the shipping. I had to toss out my last case. There's a lot of really good new cases out there though, but it really depends what sort of build you are doing.

Something like a Thermaltake V250 would be ample on space .The 87 would be like setting a pea in a refrigerator imo .Im dumping my NZXT Phantom 920,but when i saw the DG-87 on a local FB marketplace for that price i had to grab it quick.

Shocked people want a case that looks like 1990's television. Shipping that DG-87 wouldn't be cheap. Back in the day evga wanted like $40 for shipping. I would insure it for how much you sold it for plus shipping. Buyer pay for item to be returned. I was going to build a new system 2 years ago, i bought Corsair 5000D airflow case. I still have it brand new in the box. Thinking about building AMD Zen5 system this fall.

If you're primarily a PC gamer wait for the new AMD chipset motherboards and AMD gaming CPUs which should release in September.

I have a DG-85, the Airflow is ok but there are way better full cases, if they hade the front panel brushed aluminum to act as a passive air cooler, and gave it more room in the top to do push pull on an AIO yeah I would stick to it. Since that is not the case, if you are looking to do a tribute build sure use it. But there are some really nice full tower cases out there now with better cooling, so far my favorites are the Asus Hyperion and the CM HAF EVO, then I believe corsair has a crazy case with duel rads up to 360 or 420 for the top and front. I personally like the Hyperion, comes pre cable managed with 4x 140mm fans, all the accessories you could need it's the new Cadillac of modern cases today. I have not gotten a case this nice out of the box since my HP Blackbird 002 w/Voodoo DNA.
