Wondering if anyone has taken the caliper measurements on the RTX 4090 die that touches the vapor chamber. Their squared measurement is not right as the chip is taller than it is wide. I was wondering if anyone here has done the WxH measurements. Tried Reddit, Overclock.net, google and even FB groups…. I don’t have a caliper so yeah.

Sorry, can't help you with that information - I have the calipers; but, have not needed to remove the heatsink AD102 die, looks close to being sq - but, yes - it is definitely a rectangle as seen in these photos TechPowerUp - 4090 tear down photo Techpowerup review photos(excerpt) NVIDIA's AD102 graphics processor is the company's flagship Ada Lovelace GPU. It's the world's first 5 nanometer GPU, built at TSMC Taiwan with a transistor count of 76.3 billion and a die size of 608 mm²

yeah I used a piece of blue painters tape gently cut the excess off it is definitely slightly taller than it is wide. The temps with this authentic Honeywell pad from MODDIY are amazing, changed the tim on my 13900k and just did my Rog Strix OC 4090. No cure time yet hotspot was hitting 80-82c. That spot in game I was hitting 60-71c at times on the gpu, now I do not even hit or break 60c staying in the 5Xc range. This is like no cure in time, so imagine an additional oh 5-7c off the hotspot once it's finally cured. image.png (1452×1058) (discordapp.com) image.png (3440×1440) (discordapp.com)
