I'm having a black screen issue with VGA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti XC3 ULTRA HYBRID GAMING, this card has a radiator installed, Ive had it now for almost 2 years without any issues and just recently I've been getting the black screens, it only happens when I play Remnant 2 or the new Atlas Fallen, here are my specs:


GPU: RTX 3080ti
CPU: i9 10850k OC 5.1 GHz
RAM: 32GB DDR4 3200
OS: Win 10
PSU: Super Flower Leadex III 850W 80+ Gold


And my 3 monitors I game on are:


2x LG Ultragear 32GN600-B 32

48" LG C1 OLED TV

When the screens go black the EVGA Hybrid LEDS flash red briefly before turning back to normal, but my displays remain black, I have to restart my system.  I'm not sure what happened but someone said it might be related to my Power Supply? That its not enough? I have a 1000w PSU on the way but I'm wondering if I have other options? Someone even mentioned just re-installing windows might fix the issue.

I just got the PSU, EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G5, 80 Plus Gold 1000W, Fully Modular  gonna try to install later, hopefully fixes my issue.

Looks like the new PSU seems to be working, also gave the ports a good cleaning and reseated the GPU again, will update if I start seeing the black screens again.

Glad this is resolved. Good troubleshooting by the way. 

Damn looks like I didn't need to wait a week, I left my PC for about 40 min, came back to find that all my screens were black :(, I have no idea what the issue is or how to fix it at this point, I just did a fresh/clean install of windows 10, I have a new PSU installed that is 1000w rather than the previous 850w, I think Ive literally done all I can at this point.

Sorry to hear that. It’s probably the gpu. I’d suggest removing the oc on your cpu, and running your ram at 2933 for a bit to see if that does anything for the issue. If your issue continues I would suggest getting another known good working gpu to test with, and if that resolves your issues I would rma your 3080 ti if still under warranty.

I agree. I think that is the only solution.

So just a bit of clarification here, I completely replaced the PSU with a new one the
EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G5, 80 Plus Gold 1000W, I actually just gave my system a deep cleaning as well, reapplied thermal paste and went from 50-60degree idle temps down to 30-34 degrees, that is celsius, I also removed all my old harddrives, I now have 2 M.2 two TB drives and a 4 TB SSD drive,  I also completely wiped my computer, re-installed windows a clean install, after all this left my PC running went to the bathroom, I had youtube on one screen, discord on another and a twitter open on my main monitor which is the LG 48" OLED, and I came back to all my screens black, luckily resetting the driver seems to fix the issue when it happens, Cntrl+shift+windows key+B , thankfully thats a temp solution but I don't imagine letting this continue would be a good thing.
