For some reason Precision X1 is only showing one fan for my GTX 1080 TI FTW3. I had my pc on yesterday and didn't notice this until today, i had my pc on for like 7 hours without noticing it show only 1 fan until now. I'm not sure whats causing this issue, I have the latest version of the software 1.3.7 and latest Windows 10 version 22H2. I even restarted my pc and it's still showing only one fan. Does anyone know if the 2 fans not showing are possibly dead ? edit to title by Cool GTX - added (solved Nvidia 535.98 driver bug)

Tried using the EVGA faq suggestion to uninstall Precision X1 and to uninstall all driver but when trying to install the software they recommend I tried to open it and the only option i get is extract so i clicked extract and nothing happened, nothing in my downloads folder and nothing on my desktop so now i am stuck.

Update* I followed the instructions and uninstalled Precision x1 and uninstalled all my graphics drivers then installed the newest Nvidia graphics driver and installed the newest Precision x1 software but the problem still persists, only one fan is being detected on my 1080 ti FTW3 instead of three. Precision x1 is also only showing one temperature "GPU1". I honestly can't figure out what's going on and how to fix it. I'm probably gonna send the gpu to EVGA to see what's the problem because now it's out of my hands. Can anyone or any admin care to comment on what's going on ? Had the exact same problem. Downloading the 532.03 driver (second latest) fixed it: www. nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/results/204969/ EDIT: Sorry for bypassing the URL restriction mods - just trying to help. 😈

Yeah this is helped for me. I had the same problem after driver update. Had a clean install of the second newest driver and precision x1 and now it's fine. Thanks man!

A bit of relief seeing this post. Drove myself mad over this problem last weekend, but wasn't finding any new posts or solutions and nothing seemed to fix it. Another problem with my 1080ti FTW3 was the LED Sync stopped working and doesn't recognize my card. Both issues started at the same time. Is anyone else having this issue, too?

To be honest, since I have this card I did not used the LED sync software as mine never worked like it should work. I just used the integrated LED control inside X1.

I should clarify a bit. Honestly Precision XOC was what I used for LED. LED Sync was a more recent attempt. I've tried various methods of trying to get X1 or XOC to work, as well as LED Sync, and nothing worked. I'd used one of them not too long ago, too. I noticed that it wasn't toggling between 2 colors (only stayed on 1 color) last week after the update, and with the uninstalling and reinstalling I've most all fuctions.

Just did another round of messing with it. Basically the way you did it and it worked. Fan controls are back!
For the LED sync, I reinstalled Precision XOC, since it seems to have more options.

Hi everyone, any news about this issue?. I'm having the same problem just after downloading the lastest nvidia drivers to play Diablo IV. And the game doesn't allow me to use older nvidia driver version.

Yes, I'm still having the same issue too with my 1080ti FTW3. The latest nvidia driver didn't fix my issue. When I installed a nvidia driver last week I also installed corsair icue which at first I thought icue caused the problems but now we know it's a evga software issue and hopefully they're working on a patch as AlexH mentioned above. While the gpu temp stays below 76c, corsair Icue shows another temp goes as high as 83c. Precision xoc and x1 don't even show the power and memory temps anymore.

Try it with the latest released Nvidia driver (install it without PX1 running), any better?

Hi, I have exactly the same issue on EVGA Presicion X1 with an 1080 non ti. Only one of my 2 fans is showing up and I've lost about every one of my temps sensors. I used to have 7+ Also, I ALWAYS disable X1 before I upgrade the drivers and do a clean install of Nvidia drivers with DDU in Windows safe mode. This is the very first drivers that does this. I'm subscribed to this thread and will be comming back for more info on this for sure !

Hello Everyone! Thank you for your patience, we have only seen reports of the issue affecting 1080 Ti iCX graphics cards. NVIDIA just released a new driver version today, and it seems to have solved the issue with EVGA Precision X1. We would appreciate your feedback. Thank you, Alex H

Hey! Perfect timing. I had been having a lot of temp and crashing problems with my (bought used) 1080Ti FTW3 and replaced it about a month ago. Opened it up and found it was super dirty, (probably something spilled on it?) so I've been thoroughly cleaning it using isopropyl alcohol and replacing any bad thermal pads. When I tried to test it to make sure it was ok yesterday, Precision only had 1 fan controller and 1 iCX sensor showing when before it had all the iCX sensors and 3 fan controllers. I JUST took it back out and replaced it with the new GPU I've been using (literally this morning using 535.98) because I thought I had messed something up and was about to post something today. Absolutely awful timing lol, but I'll be sure to try it again with the new driver. Edit: Seems it was the driver, everything's showing up just as it did! Thank goodness, I almost had a heart attack thinking I totally killed something while cleaning it... Absolute lifesaver, thank you for the very quick response EVGA team!

it seems that Precision X1 works again with 536.23 on GTX 1080Ti FTW3. so it was caused by a driver BUG in 535.98

Just would like to inform the issue also valid for 1070Ti FTW2 and 535.98 studio driver: - temperature LEDs stopped change theirs color - 2nd fan was missing in the app, moreover it didn't spin (I didn't realize to heat cart over 60°C to test 2nd fan). Just would like to inform the issue also valid for every 10-series card with multiple EVGA proprietary fans and 535.98 studio driver. I don't think we need to create an exhaustive list of every card affected. A newer driver was released where the issue no longer occurs. Don't use the 535.98 driver if you don't want to experience this annoyance.
