Midnight Ghost Hunt
Boo! Gotcha! Now you're prepared to play Midnight Ghost Hunt, a chaotic 4v4 multiplayer battle between the living and the dead that's free this week on the Epic Games Store.
Each team has a different set of tricks. The Hunters play in first-person, using tech to hunt down the spooks fleeing throughout the level. The Ghosts can see more of the map in third-person, and they can possess any number of objects, hiding in plain sight and waiting for midnight to come when the Hunters will become the hunted.
Ghosts get time at the start to explore the level and find hiding spots, while the Hunters gather their tools (salt filled shotguns, hand-crafted gadgets that track and trap the spooks). And then it's time…
As a Hunter, discerning the Ghosts from the rest of the props is just the beginning of a ridiculous battle against the environment and your own paranoia. Props litter the levels, and a spook could be cowering in anything from a toilet to a giant mirror ball. You track them down using sonar and radar, or you can just whack any random prop to see if a ghost is inside. The best part of a prop hunt is when a commode flees when you get too close.
Ghosts are desperately trying to stay unalive. Hiding in props, or using telekinesis to attack and bombard nearby humans, are just stalling tactics to avoid being vacuumed before the clocks strike midnight. If just one spook holds out, the entire team is revived and turns into violent, clawing menaces that can battle back against the Hunters.

Told from the perspective of two crew members, First Officer Jara Rydek and Engineering Crewperson Carter Diaz, the player will help navigate space, deal with diplomatic incidents, and foster relationships in the middle of a huge crisis. Dialog-driven storylines will let players make decisions amidst an ongoing political crisis, with both Captain Riker and Ambassador Spock appearing in their late-era TNG roles.
The Outlast Trials
Run! Runnnnn! The Outlast Trials turns the solo frightfest survival horror series into a multiplayer gorefest. You, and up to three friends, are test subjects for the Murkoff Corporation, whose trials will force you to survive grim levels full of traps and monsters. Each trial has a main objective to fulfill, all while you and your team try to keep out of reach of the roaming monsters that hunt you.
