Intel Arc A750 Gets A Massive Price Cut At US Retailers, Now Available For $199 US

Back in February, Intel announced a new MSRP of $249 US for its Arc A750 graphics card, making it a far better value than the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card. With improvements to drivers & various game optimizations, the company has shown the true potential of its Arc lineup and the Alchemist architecture but it looks like retailers are set to offer even better deals on the Arc cards.

Retailers, Newegg and BestBuy, are currently offering the Intel Arc A750 Limited Edition graphics cards at a price of $199 US which is $50 US off over the new MSRP. This makes the Arc A750 just a phenomenal deal for budget gamers. You are getting a modern graphics card, with lots of horse-power, coupled with an additional game bundle. This is the best time to try and experience Intel's Arc graphics cards.

Intel has already announced its new Arc Balanced Builds which offer CPU and GPU combos starting at $423 US and systems for $899 US. The main purpose of the program is to offer gamers the best value based on the kind of budget they have and the games they want to play. At the same time, it looks like this price cut is more of a competitive tactic to tackle the mainstream launches from AMD and NVIDIA.

AMD's Radeon RX 7600 launches today with a starting price of $269 US while the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 will start at $299 US in July. Both of these cards are also equipped with 8 GB memory & will feature faster performance versus their predecessors. A 4060 that sits 20% faster than the RTX 3060 is easily going to beat the Arc A750 for $50 US more and the same goes for the Radeon RX 7600 which offers around a 20-30% performance uplift over its predecessor for $269 US.

Intel is aware that they can't compete with the new cards with the current pricing of Arc graphics cards and this price cut might be a hint of things to come. The Arc A770 might also receive a price cut sooner or later which would essentially bring it into the sub-$300 US segment.

Personally it's nice to see Intel flexible in pricing and pricing their cards to sell. I won't say if this is a good deal or bad deal as the Arc still has some hiccups to kick. But it's definitely refreshing to see more price cuts. Bottom line is the Arc performs better than the RTX 3060 in newer DX12 titles. Seeing a $200 price tag will be a very welcoming price for 1080p gamers.

Glad to see Intel trying to get those cards sold. Hopefully all of the proceeds are going into R&D for ARC Battlemage cards.

I would love to see Intel crush it ...and make AMD and NV respond...Green and Red have been too complacent, imo
