Is the nvidia “promotional price” of $1,099.00 for 3090 TIs over? I’ve noticed a number of EVGA 3090 TIs, 3090s, and 3080 TIs on Amazon at their original retail price of 2,199.00 for the 3090 TI (to be clear they are sold by Amazon, and not 3rd party). The 3rd party ones are going for less.
Seems strange Amazon is getting stock at that price but no other sites are.
Am I missing something?
Thanks

Amazon uses "live pricing" - any product they sell can see many different prices, even to the same buyer.

So maybe Amazon does not see any reason to discount from MSRP?

I think the retailer themselves controls and honors the pricing. EVGA recently had their products listed at MSRP, not the instant rebate price, and then out it back to the instant rebate price.

You could ask Amazon to price match the instant rebate price if you are trying to get it at the lower price.

I actually had that idea and tried it a few weeks ago when Best Buy still had the 3080 ti listed at $850.00
Unfortunately, Amazon pretty much told me they don’t do price matching.

Considering the market, inflation, recession, mining basically being dead, and a surplus of cards. One would think it would be easier to get a 3000 series card at the “promotional price.”

Edit: Wish I had a micro center near by.
