I'm running to a similar issue to my RMA GPU where I believe my multi monitor setup is causing it to artifact, and this is already the second GPU that it has occured on. Anytime I try to run a game now my desktop will freeze after a certain period of time, artifact, then reboot as if nothing happened. I'm getting concerned because this issue could get worse in the future and I've already tried implementing different solutions this time around (different monitor cables, using two seperate pci-e cables, temperatures don't seem out of place). If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

Artifacts are cause for concern, and it's most likely your GPU, however don't rule out testing your system memory first with Memtest or built in Windows Memory Diagnostics, it's been a long time, but I've seen system RAM cause complete hard lock with artifacts. Always best to test each module individually. I doubt it's your power supply, but you could always try your card in another known working system. Best of luck

While your black screen is happening, and then a reboot occurs, windows should be saving a crash report event if it isn’t telling you that it is happening. Could you check the event logs for any BSOD codes to see what it says?
