Hello,

Buying a Z690 Classified board here shortly and I had a question re: resources.

In my existing system some resources were shared so when I had a mix of M.2 drives and hard disks (2 of each + a CD Rom) I was unable to use these all until I purchased an additional SATA controller.

Looking through the manual for the Z690 board I'm not seeing any mention of shared resources, so is it possible to use all three M.2 slots for nVME drives and then use multiple SATA connections for additional?  Lik,e I still prefer to have a BluRay/DVD Burner and I like to have one or more mechanical hard drives in the system for a backup drive/extra storage I don't want to waste SSD space on. (Photos etc.  don't need speed)

anyone?

EDIT TO ADD:  From what I can tell with the manual, the SATA controller is separate from the M.2/PCIE so I am guessing they aren't shared, but I just want to make sure.  It looks like, theoretically, I could have three M.2 drives and 8 SATA devices, which would exceed what I need significantly.
