My next build is going to be all white. I only use EVGA GPUs. You can see my dilemma!

Sounds like EVGA needs to offer a mod kit.

Just paint the gpu shroud with plasti dip. Easily removable and thus doesn’t void warranty.

Just paint the gpu shroud with plasti dip. Easily removable and thus doesn’t void warranty.
This. You can just paint the card yourself, plus add whatever design you want if you use stencils and such. Just please actually disassemble the card before doing this, lol

Don't use regular pain, the GPU has to be in original condition if you have to RMA. Maybe able to do a cross ship and swap the shroud but I would not chance it. Plasti-dip should come off https://www.amazon.com/Pl...2Caps%2C105&sr=8-1

EVGA made a white shroud back during the 1080ti timeframe. I would assume that was only a one time thing because of cost to manufacturer versus profit.

The market for a white graphics card is very small. If you really need one, go look for a card from Galax.

Just sent them a suggestion also. What good it will do basically. I wish they would get inline with other manufacturers and offer different colors instead of the same old boring BLACK. Ugh. This is the only thing in my system that doesn't match.

I would LOVE to see EVGA release a shroud and backplate package with just primer on it. Just the shroud and backplate, so that end users could customize that part and not have to disassemble the entire card or risk warranty.

A shroud probably has enough interest to get a release as an optional accessory. We might not see a full GPU that is white but it doesn't seem like it would be that risky to make a shroud option.

Thanks for reaching out. We unfortunately have never offered a white shroud. We might in the future but have no plans at this time. Painting the shroud a different color if using a substance that sticks to the cooler which requires a solvent to remove and damaging the cooler will. If the item ever needs to be sent in for warranty it needs to be back in factory condition. We often see some that use a plasti-dip like spray which is easily removeable but as mentioned the card would need to be received the way in which it was shipped from EVGA.

It would be great if they sold spare shrouds, so that users could customize their own, especially since the 30 series shrouds are so easy to replace.
