Hi All,
 
I was reading the manual for the kingpin hydro copper https://www.evga.com/support/manuals/files/400-HC-1999-B1.pdf
and the flow order is the same as the FTW3 as stated in this forum thread https://forums.evga.com/3080Ti-FTW3-Hydrocopper-InletOutlet-Temps-Normal-m3467518.aspx
 
However, I wanted some kind of clarification... is it okay to put the fittings on the same side, 1 left 1 right as shown here: https://imgur.com/a/6d00C9h
 
or do I need the inlet fitting to face the motherboard as recommended?
 
This isn't a question of if it will work or not, it's a question if it still follows the recommended flow direction.

    You can put them on the same side.  The three each inlets and outlets are there to give you options with your tubing runs including if you wanted to SLI.

    the direction are trying to show - one fitting per side left/right
     
    So, as long as both fittings are not on the same left/right side it is
