My Lan does not detect or install driver on z690 classified.

Anyone know a fix to this? cant connect to internet or do anything further. Tried drivers from evga website and says need to install from intel or factory driver. I even tried that too and no luck. It should connect to internet when i install windows the first place.

    I've had massive issue on Dark Kingpin, have to use second LAN, which works. 

    I force installed drivers from EVGA site and now I'm using second LAN.

    Did You try both LAN ports? You have two too...

    I just installed and update window with wifi stick. It's working now.

    I never thought of using that one. Which version of LAN driver does it have on Your stick mate?

    This is the fix... it was not a lan driver on a stick.
    1. Wifi usb stick to connect ( connect it and it will open driver folder to download and then connect to wifi )
    2. Do windows update to download all necessary up to date windows.
    3. It will download and auto detect LAN on board and install the driver automatically after 3 windows update. ( The driver on evga site or intel does not work )
    4. LAN is working and now you can download the wifi driver on evga site if you need wifi connection.
    * New problem i am running into is the boot time is horrible my old system used to take 10 sec to boot. This one takes between 40 to 60 sec. But everything works faster once booted.

    Do you have any USB storage devices connected to the system? I know when I use external drives the POST sequence normally takes 2-3 times longer than with them disconnected.

    I recommend having a USB drive with all the latest drivers for the motherboard on it. I also have an old Wireless N USB network card that I have used when I run into problems with networking issues. I wouldn't keep it in long term but I can at least get the drivers updated and working for new builds. I might update the USB drive sometime in the future but being the fastest possible is not that important since drivers are normally not large files for networking.

    yes i have it disconnected and only plug in when i use or need it.

    Mine has "installer", a .bat file, which doesn't work, at all [Kingpin].

    What made me bash my head on the table was size, I mean 700 MB just for the ".inf file", cause the rest was unusable. I mean it wasn't, it was for Windows 10, I'm running this turdy 11, but I guess I'll revert back...:(

    I was going nuts trying to get on the internet after my son's new z690 build till I read this and remembered I had an old Linksys wifi stick, I tried it and it worked. Thanks
