I am only able to see the output from the 3080TI FTW3 over HDMI during POST when connected to my LG 27GN950 160Hz 4k Monitor.
 
I was able to figure out how to get everything working after seeing a similar issue here:
 
I can't add links yet but the thread is titled:
 "[Solved] Help. 3080 ti, no display out."
 
Now with the driver installed I have no output until Windows loads. Displayport works fine once Windows is loaded.
 
Is this a BIOS issue with the 3080 TI or a compatibility issue with the LG 27GN950?  I have the latest firmware installed on the monitor.

    I assume the monitor use display port 1.4 aswell. 
    but ya for my case, with UEFI turned on, no output during post on the dp1.4 monitor.
    dp 1.2 or hdmi works fine．
     
    when you report the issue to both EVGA and the motherboard manufactruer.
    they will both response with the same canned response: talk to the other company.
    still report regardless, so maybe one of them can figure out what's going on.

    Thanks for the link. I am glad to see that it is not just my LG monitor having issues.

    Must be the video card. My Asus 3080 never had this problem with the exact same setup.

    Yes, went to try that and said was not required.
     
    Only way to post to BIOS is to switch to HDMI - PITA, but MOBO upgraded now, new BIOS and Chipset drivers installed, XMP/DOC and rebar good to go.
     
    But hoping, like ZOTAC, EVGA releases a fix for DP 1.2 vs 1.4, which is causing this issue.

    same issue as well. tried my asus vg34vql1b my lg 35gn850f and a lg 38gn950 all same issue. DP does not work on the 3080ti unless to turn off csm and you get no resize bar. hdmi works no matter what.

    It is a VBIOS issue with the 3080 Ti, that EVGA confirmed via Twitter they are working on it. In this thread, there is a beta BIOS update for this that seems to have fixed the issue for those that have installed it.  I haven't tried it myself since at work and not aware of an official BIOS update coming out through Precision X1 at this time.

    With the latest EVGA firmware update for my 3080 ti - all issues resolved - can see my BIOS now with my ASUS 360Mhz monitor.

    Quick fix to solve the no video issues during bootup sequence for the LG GN27950 Monitor and others like it with the issue without having to use HDMI and board video ports.

    Simply go into the monitor’s setting and choose 1.4 WITHOUT DSC! There are two selections. The compression to up the refresh to 144hz overclock is the issue. Setting the monitor to it’s native 120hz will cure the issue and you can revert back to overclock once you have finished setting your rig up.

    Exactly this, 4k@120Hz is near the limits of that DP standard, and the only way it can push it to 144Hz is with DSC on. I'm personally not surprised it creates issues, at this resolution and refreshes they really should jump to DP 2.0 instead of barely fitting into a previous standard.
