Hello,

I just built a Z590 Dark motherboard, I started to install windows when it popped an error saying it encountered an unexpected error and to click ok to restart the install. Well when you do that it just restarts and pops the same error, I’ve tried using a USB recovery tool, that just tells me there’s nothing on the drive with a 0x000098 error.

When I try to get into the bios it just freezes on the bios screen.

I’ve built a ton of computers and have never experienced something so infuriating.

If your cpu has a igpu does the bios freeze when removing your gpu, and only using the igpu to access bios? Installing windows onto your ssd in another system is always an option. Make sure you sysprep the windows installation though before moving the drive back to your system.

I've had this happen before on a USB stick that turned out to be the culprit.
 
Burn Windows from MS to a different USB stick, and try again and see if it fixes the problem. It did the trick for me at one time, maybe it helps you out.

I've ran into this before with a bad iso download.  I'd try redownloading/redoing install media too.
