Hi All,
some days ago I become a happy ownerof the SR3 Dark Board

. So i'am actually planning and building a new big rig.
First Tests with GTX 680 Classified:
In the first tests with this new Board I noticed strange problems regarding booting up into an operating system. So everything began with testing the board with the w-3175x CPU and a GTX680 Classified GPU (only for testing purposes if everything works). So starting up the entire testbench into the bios was absolutley no issue. Every component was recognized and every usb-slot or SATA-Slot did work. Then I created a new Windows 11 Boot-Stick and I wanted to test the first installation and the TPM-Module. But while Windows booting up from the stick the Screen stays black just before you normally select the language from the windows boot stick. So I tried every useful setting in the Bios regarding booting and pcie generation. But it only brings back that black screen just before the language selection.
I then tried to create a windows 10 Boot stick with the media creation tool - but same issue again! I then tried an actually built of the hirens boot stick for booting up - again same issue. Black screen after booting from the stick.
Followup Test with very old Geforce 280 GTX
The only thing I did not change was the Graphics card, so I had a very old GTX 280 laying around and I then tested this Card for booting up into Windows 11 boot stick. And heck what should I say it worked

. I was able with that card to install Windows 11. So after Installing all the drivers I removed the 280 gtx and plugged back the 680 first - but again the screen keeps black after you saw the Windows bootup from the SSD, where I installed Windows 11. So I tought a trick and plugged back my GTX 280 in first pcie slot and 680 Classi into the second slot. This worked and I was able to install the drivers for the 680 Classi, too. After that I removed the 280 again. What should I say after that the System was able to bootup only with the 680 Classi

.
Final Tests with the Hardware for the Rig - RTX 3090 :
While this confuses me so hard, I needed to know what does happen, when I plug in my RTX 3090, which is planned for this build and I wanted to try to bootup from usb-Stick to install a new windows 11. Again the Screen stays black after the bootup from stick.
I needed to do the (hack) with the 280 GTX installed to install drivers for this card and after that I was able to boot into Windows.
So my 3090 and 680 are working in other boards when I tried to boot from a usb-stick. This seems to be a problem regarding this board with some kind of hardware!? Iam really confused of this issue.

Hope you have any advice for this. The advice can't be to install at first with my really old card and then using my hardware I want to

All Data from actually testingbench:
EVGA SR3 Dark (Bios 1.06)
Intel Xeon W-3175X
G.Skill 3600MhZ 32-96 GB (both tested...)
EVGA 850W Platin
Samsung 850 SSD (and WD HDD also tried)
GPUs: XFX GTX 280 XXX, EVGA 680 Classified, Asus 3090 Strix
Tried some different Sticks with actual versions of Win 11, Win 10 and Hirens-Boot-Stick
Tried pcie Versions to step down to 2 and even 1 gen in Bios, nothing worked, so it is now on auto and Autoselects Gen 3 for 680 for example.
Edit:
I could do another Test with a new card for anew build for friend. So this is a 3070ti from ZOTAC. This card arrived today and first i testet it in the new build for my friend. Everything works there. Then I tought, why not testing it in my SR3, to see what happens there.
Here I was not even able to get in the bios. The Post stops by code 92 and I get the version Information from the board bios displayed. The system seems completely freezed in this state, because keyboard numlock light can't be switched on/off. Even del+alt+entf for restart does nothing at this point. Putting the 280 gtx in first slot and the 3080gtx in second, I am able to get into Windows.
I am building Computers in mass for years, but I never had such a Strange Problem.
Here the picture where it hangs with the 3070ti
