Will they pull the LIMIT 1 PER HOUSEHOLD or does that stay forever?
I can afford cards and now that there is more in stock why can't I buy them if no one else is?

Edit**
Not saying no one is buying them I guess, just more in stock that is available, and I would like to buy more....

The 1 card per person limit will be in place for the foreseeable future. You can get cards from other retailers without effecting your EVGA purchases.

They probably will pull it eventually, since the 3090ti supports NVLink after all.
I imagine that EVGA will remove the limit once the immediate launch window ends and they have a surplus of inventory of these cards.
I believe it took them like a year and a half to remove the one-per-household limit for 3090s, but I don't imagine it will take them that long to remove this limit for the 3090ti, since the supply shortage appears to be getting better compared to how it was in 2020.

The FTW3 3090 was updated to 2 per household so eventually it will be updated as well on the 3090 Ti I imagine.

The limitations are there until such time as EVGA decides there is more than enough stock to warrant the removal of the limitation.

I was at Micro Center yesterday and the case was full of cards. one of which was a 3090 Ti FTW3 Ultra. So there is a possibility.

Thanks for the thoughts guys.  I just build a ton of RIGS and figured if I can afford them and there in stock I should be able to purchase them.
Like I could Goto Micro center or even best buy and buy a EVGA card and own two of the same card, but with the rule in effect I can only warranty one. I think that is kind of mean.......
I mean I get it we are in some sad times with products but if its on the shelf I should be able to buy it.

What do you mean you can only have warranty on one? That doesn't make sense. I'm sure you can register 10 cards if you managed to get them from other places. Please clarify I am curious!

Purchase limits have nothing to do with warranties.

Re: LIMIT 1 PER HOUSEHOLD question Monday, April 04, 2022 7:22 AM (permalink)
The limit is just the ability to get cards from EVGA. If you buy from like Amazon, Best Buy or Microcenter you could end up with multiple cards and still register them for the warranty. I am kind of guessing we won't see many cards this generation change from the 1 per household because SLI is not really a thing as much as it once was but maybe the 3090 and 3090Ti since those still have it as an option and the price might help them stay in stock. It could also be that the cards will start to stay in stock and resellers are going to take a bath on them and we see everyone in the queue who wants one get a card and the limit could possibly be lifted. I really think resellers have really hurt the supply this generation but then again so have miners.

I read that post and was going to let them know the same thing you posted. Then I thought to myself, I must be reading the post wrong and not understanding what they are saying and I would come back and read it again later to clear my mind of what I just read. Guess I wasn't wrong with my first take of that post.

Glad to know because I can now add all my cards to that page.

There is a lot of stock available right now on the evga website (NA), no need to queue anything. Just go ahead and add to cart and buy it. That is if you live in north America. It might not be a hybrid but you can always buy a hybrid kit, it goes in stock here and there.

Use an associate code to get a discount! I would give you mine but I don't want to spam it.

Will they pull the LIMIT 1 PER HOUSEHOLD or does that stay forever?

You can always use a forwarding address or have it shipped to a buddy's place. I done that many times else were and its always worked for me.

Forwarding addresses are strictly prohibited for orders from EVGA, and ordering more than once and attempting to ship to someone else would require more than one account and is also strictly prohibited by EVGA.

Maybe suggest users purchase through authorized methods, and buy from microcenter or Best Buy.

Were I live duplex homes are only given one address and mail is permanently forwarded to fixed single address, so if forwarding addresses is not allowed then I can't buy anything from evga. Sounds like a good policy.

That's rough. I don't think that EVGA makes exceptions to this rule...so I guess the answer is...among your neighbors, be the first to order.

I should clarify, I meant forwarding companies, not forwarding addresses, but that raises questions.

What kind of duplex doesn’t have a designator to distinguish between the duplexes? I have always always seen things like 123A and 123B. I know USPS offers forwarding addresses, but I have never seen UPS use a forwarding address.

The way you suggested “you can always use a forwarding address and send it to a buddy’s house” still violates the purchasing rules of EVGA, as they would detect the address changes and not allow a second purchase based on the previous purchase.

This is great timing.
I've been hoping they would change this to 2 like this.

Awesome, Glad to see EVGA is responding to the ever changing GPU situation accordingly!
