Hi, 1st post here and looking for a bit of advice, play lots of games but Apex legends mostly playing last night and started noticing a fe items like this, happened in a couple of games. Wondering if it the game or the card, as mostly familiar with these types of artifacts with card issues, card is a RTX 3090 FTW, on stock settings, have HWinfo running and montioring temps, RAM TJ max tops out at 92c playing so cannot imagine it is memory overheating. Never mind the pictures will post next week.... URLs in messages, signatures, and PM's are removed unless you have ... - been a member for at least 5 day(s);

Only really play one game on the PC at the moment, drivers already ruled out, has occured on 4.9x drivers and update 5.xx driver as did that yesterday and happened last night. Displayport cable, have not tried another, so will swap or put it through HDMI instead, see if I get similar issues, thank you for the suggestion.

The other thing is that I noticed when I was helping a friend with a GPU install was that his Gigabyte motherboard still had the original factory shipped bios version (F1) and they are at F14 now for his! He didn't even have resizable bar options on his version of the motherboard. Check your bios version and see if it's the latest (looks like F8 is the latest for yours https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/X299-UD4-Pro-rev-10/support#support-dl) It's a pretty straightforward process to update. Gigabyte even has a utility that will scan and update it for you called @BIOS If you have to update the bios I would recommend a clean install of the latest game ready drivers by using UDD to remove the current drivers in windows safe mode and then reinstall the drivers. PC gaming is fun isn't it?!

May have been the cable, fresh one installed and no repeat of the issue so far, coincidence or cause I won't probably know for a bit yet.
However not immediately reproducable so that is good from my perspective.
