Have you tried renting one? If you only need it once in a while, it might save you some money.

you want the quick change tips - which ever way you go

depending on the job - look at hose ID when comparing washers ...

Gas - Honda motor if the premium is not that high

Electric - You Need a 20 Amp circuit maybe a 15 Amp depends on motor size & factor in the cost of a quality 10GA or 12 GA cord the appropriate length

around your place only use ?  Electric is easy to store

portability - gas ..... unless you have a portable generator

Make sure you "empty the pump before storage" - most failures are from freezing damage (even in central FL)

I use one too much to continually rent it I think....I also use it to soap down my car (no heavy PSI tho) .....and rinse the soap off...

I won't leave water in the pump ....never do.

check Sam's Club & Costco if you have a membership

2.5 G/min is middle of the road size

that looks like a good unit in your link

check the dimensions to see where it will store out of the way

I'm not sure about the quality (buy the extended warranty) - hard to beat the price at https://www.harborfreight.com

I use electric and am now have a Greenworks Pro and they are available in 2300/2700/3000 PSI.  I have the 2300 and I like it.  Lowe's carries them.

Stay away from AR Blue, they are junk.

As mentioned above, drain before storing.  Mine goes into the basement for the winter.

I don't need a high pressure model (3000+ is fine) and i don't care if it takes longer to do the job....as long as it will do it..

What I really care about is quality...I've never heard of Northstar myself, but a commercial pressure washer at a neighbors house was using a
Northstar and swore by it....but he had the 8500 dollar version..(that's TOO much)..
