Try disabling Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling. Flickering only happens while playing games. Has been driving me crazy, tried so many things, but disabling this has rid the flickering! Just thought I'd share. Using a RTX3070.

    John, do you have 2 monitors hooked up?
     
    The newer nvidia drivers have an issue with two monitors it seems.
     
    it says 'black screen flickering' but I was experiencing bad flickering even with my VR headset (an index)
    plugged in until I unplugged it from the card.
     
    In multi-monitor configurations, the screen may display random black screen flicker.

    You using a dp cable? If yes is it vesa certified? If you’re not using a vesa certified cable that could be the issue. Could also be a faulty output on the gpu. Make sure to test all the outputs on your gpu.

    Had the same problems ever since 49*.** Nvidia drivers came out, NVIDIA finally acknowledged it in the Known Issues. Ended up reverting to 472.12 and waiting until it gets resolved.
