Hello Guys,

i would like to change my Thermal Paste and the Thermal Pads on my EVGA GTX 1080 FTW2 after 3 years of use.
I know there are various Size of Thermals Pads, so i would like to know which kind of Thermal Pads i need to Buy. Cuz if I change the Paste i will too change the Pads.

I would like use the Thermal Grizzly Products because i use the Paste for my CPU.
"The minus pads 8 are available in the dimensions 30x30mm, 120x20mm, 100x100mm as well as in the thicknesses 0,5mm, 1mm, 1,5mm, 2mm"

What kind of thickness i need?

Thanks for your answers :)

You should probs check the manufacturer's website, don't gamble like this. If you cannot find it, EVGA has a product registration page. Try there, it will give you the info you need.

yes i contact the Support of EVGA. they tell me i can use 1.25mm or 1.5mm thickness of thermal pads. So i replace everything with 1.5mm. Im Happy. Worked fine :)

What kind of temperatures you got after the change of pads? Does it make a difference?

Doesn't take much effort to change, I have modified my air-cooled card to be water-cooled. You only can break something if you absolutely have no talent for fixing things.
