I have used PrimoFlex LRT tubing for a long time. I am happy with it but I keep hearing folks talk about Tygon. I have done some research and like this tubing. It is expensive, per foot, but feel it’s a good move. I have spent way too much on fitting to change to hard line tubing, sorry. I do not mind the cost given the cost of other components. I perceive the smoothness of the bore and the chemical resistance as great ways to reduce the tubing as an issue with fluids, staining, etc as time moves on. Am I crazy to want to do this? https://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=119358

About 2 to 3 years. Depends on fluid color. Colored fluid, 2 years max.

My issue with this tubing is the temp rating at 125F. I thought that was too low.

I just bought EKs ZMT (Zero Maintenance Tubing) and really like it. I will add... I used to use Tygon clear and it would always yellow on me. Then I used Primoflex and it coated my entire loop with chalky plasticizer. I posed pics here somewhere years ago.

+1, me too. Well, I've had it for months, and been using it at work for a couple years now. If you're not careful, it isn't always the prettiest tubing, but I don't worry about it. Put a compression fitting on it and I have never seen a leak. Probably put 50 fittings on the stuff at this point (all EKWB or Koolance) and haven't seen a single issue. I also use clear liquid so I don't have to worry as much about the particulates gunking things up, so I don't really care that the tubing is black. Gives a nice industrial look lol. Some action shots in the "dark water" build linked in my signature.
