I've tried nvidia g force experience and afterburner.
Afterburner seems to ramp up the fans better.
Any suggetions and reasoning will be greatly appreciated.

I’ve only tried afterburner and Alienware command center. Afterburner has better fan control but will sometimes randomly force close. Haven’t tried Nvidia’s but I think they all do the same thing and it just comes down to preference.

If you hate yourself use GPU Tweak II. But seriously, avoid it. It's terrible for many reasons.

    Thanks for the input
I've tried the ge force experience and afterburner
Afterburner seems to get better overclocking
Though the ge force seems way more stable
I'm fully a noob at this

    I second the afterburner choice.

To be fair, if an oc is stable or not most likely won't depend on the software which was used to overclock, but the values you put in.

You have to run (different) stress tests if you want to find the sweetspot for your specific (maximum) overclock.

I've always come back to Afterburner, I'm just too used to the UI for it and could never get into Gigabyte's software, and I've not taken enough time to use EVGA Precision X1, but I've heard that its comparable to Afterburner for its reliability.

Seconded MSI Afterburner, I used Precision (X) before but I didn't like the UI as much.

Not had any use for OC so far with a Founders Edition card.  They run pretty close to max.

This quickly became an afterburner appreciation threat lol. It just works really well and ive used it exclusively for years with no problems outside of the games being the ones to not allow afterburner to work.

Is MSI Afterburner actually developed by MSI? I'm asking cause while Afterburner is hands down the best GPU OC software currently, their MSI Dragon Center is a hot mess.
