You realize that they don't truly care about their consumers, they just after more money from their suppliers. Proof of this is that their search engine is DELIBERATELY tailored towards impulse buying & forcing their customers to buy stuff they don't need :o) Proof of this is if you searched for EVGA 1600W PSU, or EVGA RTX 3080 you will get dozens of pages that have nothing to do with what you entered into your search criteria. For this alone, they should be all put in prison for life without parole & shutdown the company world-wide.
 
Amazon doesn't want any bad reviews, they want 100% of everyone praising up their purchases so that they can attract more suppliers :o)

something similar happened, I was benned from Amazon reviews last Januray when I compared some headphone's ear pads from Amazon to ones from the bay, wich were a fraction of the cost and better quality 
pretty sure saying the word "ebay" on an amazon review is a ban

As for Amazon, what a trash company it's become.  Quite happy to take my money right? But hey if you don't give 5 star reviews we're gonna silence you.

Just like here at EVGA forums, I am sure Amazon has rules & regulations about reviews such that you can't use foul language & attack others but I can't see a problem when someone receives what they ordered & it turns out to be garbage & imho they should be allowed to complain about the junk that they just ordered & received without penalty.
As others mentioned, I highly doubt that they will change.

Yeah all my efforts to ask them for evidence of supposed violations of ToS and like information have been met with dead silence.

I get the review requests all the time, not only from Amazon, but from other vendors I do online purchases from.
 
I always flag the email as spam, and block them.

Okay so I have been buying from Amazon ever since 2000 when on July 6th I ordered Baldur's Gate II on CD-Rom (Ah nostalgia)
 
So I went to write a review today and lo and behold I get this message claiming that I am banned from writing reviews and comments.  They claim that I am paid by other companies or some such to give negative reviews to competitors.   Between fury and laughing my head off at the absurdity of such a claim I got onto live chat and asked them to tell me what was going on.
 
I end up receiving an email saying that they will not overturn the ban.  They would not provide me any information about why they flagged me as a paid review bomber or whatever.   I am beyond upset about this.  Is there any legal avenue one can go down to try and fix this?   I write my reviews the same way I write here.   The last review I wrote was on a cleansing product and I said that it was not effective as it used to be as they changed the ingredients.  I believe I gave it 3/5 stars because it was still somewhat effective but nowhere near how well it worked a decade ago.
 
Are we really in a time when a vendor can just get annoyed at your review then flag you as a paid reviewer and you get banned without ANY investigation or opportunity to refute these claims?
 

Yes, thats where we are. The best remedy for that is for every account they ban you make two more and post with each.

Not much you can do against Amazon since it's their website & their rules. They can unfortunately ban whomever they wish for whatever reason, same as here at EVGA forums. Their rules, their house, so we all must follow their rules if we wish to stay :o)
 
You can only go after the seller if they misrepresent their products. I have Prime & several of my friends didn't so many decades ago I had to order WDC drives for them but when they arrived, they came in a box without the standard ESD factory sealed bag with silica gel pack inside so I contacted WDC. They confirmed that it was a used drive & they ended up suing the seller company out of existence for non-authorized sales of their products as 'new'. For 50 years WDC sent me all my drives ordered directly through them with drives inside factory sealed ESD bags & that is the only way they are sold.
 
I ordered for friends the UHD version of a movie & the package looked legit but the disc inside was a home made burn job & not factory made one so we contacted Paramount & they as well sued the sellers company out of existence. My friends got the UHD free of charge direct from Paramount for turning in the illegal seller.
 
Caveat to all members buying through Amazon, there are lots of legit sellers & there are millions more shady sellers that are selling counterfeit products & Amazon fails to catch them all. So be cautious & stick with 'sold & shipped by Amazon' items for safety.

But I broke zero rules.  I did not breach anything in the ToS.  They refuse to show me what rule I supposedly broke. They are liars and corrupt.

Always check where the e-mails come frome from, some shops use the same address to send shipping details to you.

 
Does not matter. If I did not request an email from you, you are going on the block list.
 
As an aside, Amazon has decided to become political, so I am curtailing my purchases from them.

As an experiment the other day I tried to post an Amazon custom questions & answers post in attempt to correct inaccurate information previously posted. I was instantly told I did not qualify to post reviews. Odd, considering I was attempting to give out correct answers to those asking a few questions. It flagged me because I said "Ignore the others saying "no". You take off the front round silver cap and there is a screw mount to attach a tripod mount to." My guess is AI saw "take off", "screw" and "mount" in the post and banned me for inappropriate content. AI content gatekeeping is cancer.

Yeah, I posted about my Kamado Joe smoker on facebook.  I have the "Big Joe".   Facebook flagged and deleted my post  because I assume the algorithm thought I was talking about Joe Biden.  Its not like I said "screw up".
