Hey guys I'm having an issue with a 2080ti black screen.
Spec of the pc
Ryzen 9 3900x
Asus b550i mini itx
1tb nvme ssd
32gb g skills trident z ram 3200mghz
Evga 2080ti.
My screen goes black for a moment and then comes back online
So this has started happening at random. I can even just be watching YouTube videos or gaming sitting at the desktop. There seems to be happening everytime the card spike 1350mghz and 7000 on the memory according to precision x1.
It seems to also do it less with multiple screens plugged into the card.
This card is completely stock clock and so is the cpu nothing has been modified at all.
I've changed cables. I've change power supplies I've changed riser cables I've changed everything with no change and I'm to the point where Iam just going to switch brands if I can't get it RMA or fixed. Any advice or help would be nice. Thanks.

Got another card to test with? Can you test the video card in another rig to see if the issue will follow the card?

I unfortunately do not. I picked up an rx580 for cheap which will be here in maybe a week. I can try that. I got this card in December and have had no issues up until about February. Then it was hit and miss and seemed to have stopped so I thought I was OK. Tonight it's been persistent for the last 3 or 4 hours and is completely unusable for any thing. It black screens for a second the card stops working fans and all then kicks back on.
Everything on the pc remains working apps. Discord etc just the display does not work.

Did you ever check out your Windows Event Viewer to see the error? I was having similar issues as I have the EVGA 2080 Super Hybrid and it was constantly crashing my Call of Duty game and randomly black screen on my desktop with the nvlddmkm problem and manage to fix it by changing my secondary monitor to a different electrical port and reset the Windows power plan settings and updated windows 10 ( I know it sounds strange ) but they are based on this suggestions from other forums I dug up.
I also posted my full description on the asus rog forum as I have their motherboard but I hope this helps anyone that is having random black screen problems and nvlddmkm crashes.

Hi, had the same issue and for me solution was to turn off led light synchronisation of my motherboard (Asus) with EVGA 2080ti FTW3. I have Armoury Crate installed and there is a section that you can select which devices you want to control via AURA SYNC. Simply don't select graphic card and everything works fine.
Armoury Crate 3.3.7.0
EVGA 2080Ti FTW3 Ultra - 461.72
Precision X1 - 1.1.7
Windows 10 Pro build 20H2

I also experienced intermittent black screens. Considering that I have recently installed Corsair’s new version of iCUE, which can control the RGB of EVGA, I decided to turn it off for a period of time to test if this is caused
