MY x299 micro ATX took a nosedive for the worst. I put the pc in a new case and it just turns on and turns off I tried everything and one of those tabs that clip the GPU in place broke off. I am using my 730i/9300 build from 10 years ago with windows 7 and I put in my GTX 1080. I can remember that motherboard 730i/9300, z68, and the z170 all had this clip for the GPUs.     Have you tested the board outside the case to rule out the possibility of your new case shorting something out?
