Hi everyone,

I'm really hoping someone can help. My main cable for my PSU fell apart at the main 24 pin connector. I can't find any diagrams specifically for the 1600 T2, and the replacement seems to be on intergalactic backorder. The diagrams I've found seem to contradict each other, even on the repository. Does anyone have a diagram specific to the 1600 or one for the W001-00-000144 cable? (I think that's the proper replacement)

    The 24-pin Pinout on the mobo end is industry-standard as specified by Intel..The pinout is shown as if you're looking into the end of the connector.
     
    The W001-00-000144 Cable is compatible with a 1600 T2.
     
    How the heck did it fall apart?..Or maybe I don't even wanna know

    Thank you for the quick reply! I'm truly not sure how the cable would get so hot while the motherboard side is flawless. Do you happen to have the diagram showing which wires on the 24 pin correspond to the wires in the 18 and 10 pin connectors? Maybe also showing where the caps and double wires go?

    One more question. I can't find any reference to the mysterious extra pin that my cable has on its 18 pin connector, just that it doesn't exist. Even the replacement cables from the EVGA store don't have it. Am I missing something somewhere?

    It's for -5V that hasn't been used since 2003, but the 24pin mobo connector that it goes to remains standard/the same and they leave out that pin 20 terminal/wire in the connector/cable now.
