Took weeks!  I basically had 6 places that I checked every day.  Then on Wednesday...25 5950X showed up at my local Microcenter, along with 12 5900X.  I really went for the 5900x, but I was 13th in line to get into the store...and all the 5900's were gone...so I bit the bullet and spent the extra...well worth it, too!  Waited to get into the store for over an hour...only way this was gonna happen

Dude that is a really clean build. Love the case, never really considered Lian Li before but I certainly will in the future.

    Current Build:
    Ryzen 9 3900XT
    Arctic 420mm AIO
    MSI MEG x570 ACE
    32 GB Trident Z Neo CL16 3600mhz DDR4
    EVGA GTX 980 ACX 2.0
Sabrent Rocket NVMe PCI 4.0 1TB
    EVGA Supernova G2 850 Gold
    Thermaltake Level 20 XT

    Best quote I've ever heard:
Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio.

It's a good case...good airflow, even with the front filters in place.  280mm to 360mm AIO in front...only 240mm on top...

Nicve part is...the Corsair H115i RGB Pro is quite a cooler.  They released a new iCue v3.37, which recognizes the Ryzen 5000 series CPU's now.  Set up a fan curve and under stress / full load...the CPU never goes  over 72C.  Little tweaks here and little there.

Sweet build indeed! So at microcenter, when they opened the doors for yall to get in the store, did they do it like 1 by 1 and only let in so many people at a time?

Been Playing around with benchmarks for the RTX 2080TI XC Black with the Ryzen 5950X vs the i7 7820X.  Mind you...The Ryzen will boost on it's own to 4950MHZ where I had the 7820X clocked at 4.6 all cores.  For the sake of comparison, the 2080TI was NOT overclocked.  The first will be the i7 7820X score and the second wiill be the Ryzen 5950X

    7820-X @4.6

    5950X stock

    7820X @ 4.6

    5950X at stock

Interesting what a difference is made with 7nm and 8 more cores and no overclocking.  While running the test with the Ryzen...saw one core hit 5000 MHZ, another 4975 and a third 4900.  Other cores were between 4.4 and 4.6 GHZ

Nicely done, Bobmitch. Thanks for posting the difference in performance. I'm sort of glad I don't have a Microcenter near me. Probably wouldn't be a good thing.

sean...I so as well.  I have an external Samsung BR burner that I got for my laptop that I use if and when I need to burn something.  A bit slow...but works great off USB.  Thinking of taking my old Pioneer BD-209 and putting it an an external USB 3.0 Vantec enclosure.  People saying that it will burn and read full speed in that enclosure...tempted.  With all that said...an Internal drive would kill the looks...I still have an internal BR drive in my secondary X299 system....Corsair Case had slots
