Personally I'm trying to get my hands on either a 3080/3090 FTW3, so hopefully we will start to see water blocks coming out for it "soon".

I see where you're talking about. It's near the end of the press release under the section "Upcoming NVIDIA RTX 30 Series Water Blocks". It says "EK water blocks for FTW3 Series graphics cards will follow in a matter of weeks..."

Good to see EK blocks are in pre-order status for EVGA GPUs

I can't recall which company it was, but one of them was requesting people to send in their cards so they could make diagrams off of them to use for block production. I think they were offering a free block in return for helping.

They still looking for a 3090 ftw3 ultra? I’ll send them mine, I won’t need it for a few more weeks I think.

Send them a message via FB or Twitter and they might reach out to you. They let me know via FB that they didn't get any cards from EVGA about 10 days ago.

For EK, the cost is roughly 230-250 USD for the backplate (mandatory, choice of black or nickle ) and the block (choice of acetal or plexi). They will be available soon, end of month or early next month.

Bykski, Alphacool, Heatkiller are other options, but no saying as to when they will release blocks for the EVGA 30xx gpus. Those options are much more affordable at 140-170 USD, some with and some without a backplate.

Not hard at all to install. Instructions are easy to follow. My best advice is to prepare your workstation/setup area to complete your waterblock install. People make mistakes and f things up just by simply having to get up and get tools or other materials while in the middle of the tear down.

To answer your question, yes. But the fact that you are asking that question shows that you have a lot of reading up to do if you are really serious about going down the custom loop route.

check out ekwb.com, there are configurators there that can get you started.

When I was determined to get into a custom loop, it took me 1-2 months of research. It may be daunting, but it is fun and definitely worth it.
