So my first card was the NV40 6800 series and I've upgraded my system ever since approximately every other year went from the 7800 all the way up to my current 2080 card. I think this year however I may finally jump ship to AMD as I am hearing that Big NAVI will perform just as well as the 3080 and there will be a significant amount of stock available, this is key as my 2080 performs poorly in 4k and would rather not wait until the middle of next year before I can upgrade.

We will have to wait and see what AMD does. AMD only showed 3 titles total, and all they stated was 4K ultra settings, no other information. Everything else you hear is purely speculation until reviewers have the cards in hand and they can actually see performance numbers.

I am also going to move this over to General Discussion as this isn’t an EVGA RTX 3000 series discussion.
