You know at this juncture I'd like to say Oct has the 3070, but depending on your budget and usage waiting for the 3060 might be not ideal.

That is an upgrade albeit a small one so depends on price.

I just figure that a 1070 is a better bang for the buck for me at the moment. Because I can get one relatively cheap even in Canadian dollars and im definitely not to try hard im just here to have a good time with my friends. So knowing I can get a 1070 for like 290$ CAD just works a little better but would you say it is worth the upgrade?

Well a quick search has gained me the following information
    1660 to 1070 = ~25% gain
    1660 to 1070ti = ~53% gain

I am not entirely sure that is much of an upgrade ? ,.. more kinda sideways.  They are pretty close.
    Read for yourself and determine.

Early benchmarks show that the 1660 Ti has a clear 33% effective speed advantage over its $60 cheaper 1060 6GB predecessor and that it performs just 4% slower than the $80 more expensive GTX 1070 in terms of effective speed.

I just looked at the cost of a 1070TI and it looks like ~500 USD. I would recommend waiting for the RTX3070 to come out. It's supposedly the equivalent of the 2080TI's performance and ~500 USD. The difference between your 1660 and 3070 will be huge and money well spent

Navi cheaper better performance and more memory ye😼

Those who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way.
