It seems with 471.41 the max frame rate constantly resetting every time I restart the pc.
 
I try to set it to 144 and then it seems to be resetting to off in the driver. Furthermore with out the frame rate limit it seems in resident evil village maxed out with ray tracing my computer stutters then bsods or the game crashes. I am trying to figure out if this is mainly happening in the menu ala new world like issue.I have also posted on the nvidia forums as well, but I am concerned this could be an issue with the card that has been bought to light via this driver issue.
 
I have a 3080 Ti and while my gpu has not been fried the bsod and pc restarting is very concerning. I also tried evga precision and reducing the power limit but it seems without the max frames I bsod.
 
I looked at bluescreen view in order to view the bsod info and it says the following are highlighted in red:

I was going to try "466.77". If someone would recommend a driver that would also be great, but I will try that one first.
 
I do recall my system used to be stable at some point playing the latest resident evil, but I don't know if it was a windows update, a driver update, or if my card is on its way out/ started to show symptoms of a problem  (hope that is not the case). I currently do believe the frame rate limiter seems to help and that does seem to be resetting its value after a restart with my pc and the latest nvidia driver.

I tried going back to 466.77 and got the same thing unfortunately :(.
 
using evga precision I saw my fps go to 5, my gpu utilization jump to 100% and then I BSODed. It happened right after I beat resident evil village mercenaries and saw the stats menu.

I had my frame rate limiter on as well. So this may not exactly be like new world, but it is unnerving having stuttering on the menu, the screen going black, then getting a bsod. Also, after the restart from the bsod I see that the frame rate limiter has been reset again to off. Perhaps I should try an even older driver?
