Here's the first poster reveal of "Far Cry 6" by Ubisoft, released to the web by PlayStation Store Hong Kong, along with a tentative release date of 18 February, 2021. The poster reveals a Latin American revolutionary setting that's loosely based on the many regime-changes involving autocrats in the resource-rich continent. Giancarlo Esposito, who owned the character of Gus Fring from "Breaking Bad," plays the game's big bad. All Far Cry games since Ubisoft took direct control over the franchise (FC2), involves an open-world sandbox setting that's the fiefdom of a singular main antagonist, with the protagonist starting off as someone who was at the wrong place in the wrong time.

Sounds interesting.

Man Ubisoft cranking them out, I love the series but I'll probably be putting off getting this one cause I'll be deep into

Cyberpunk 2077, then I'll need time for Valhalla.

NOPE... rinse and repeat. They've beat this dead horse to a fine pulp. They need to work on a new formula for Far Cry, everything is about revolution. They've gone backwards in time, how about try going forwards? Distant future, something similar to cyber punk, or hey why not space colonies, revolution against oppressive mega-corps?

Next they'll do a Columbia revolution, then it will be Far Cry Argentina, etc.

The last few Farcry were hot garbage. What will save this one? Storyline? 🤔

I am looking forward to this one since New Dawn was more of an expansion to Farcry 5 since it used the same basic map and textures as Farcry 5. That means that the team has had 3 years since the last Farcry game. Though I agree with what others have said I am totally going to finish Cyberpunk 2077 before jumping on this.
