CLC 280 and AM4 back plate question

I'm currently running a Ryzen 3700X with a CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO. Is it possible to use that black plate with the CLC 280 or will I have to take my entire rig apart to reinstall the sock AMD back-plate? The cut out on the HAF X case is pretty much useless because it doesn't like up perfectly with the CPU.
