Hi everybody,

I would like to connect a strip led to the rgb header of my EVGA 2080Ti FTW3 Gaming.
You can see the strip specifications in the attached pictuers. The led strip works, but in a few seconds it turns so damn hot that I can barely touch it.

What is wrong?

Thank you

    140W led strip? Wow.

The piece of paper says 4.5v to 25v, but the strip says 5v. Are you sure that you got what you paid for?

What is wrong is definitely the LED strip.

And yeah, 144 watts.... that's why it gets hot. Imagine plugging a 150 watt light bulb into a light socket, turning it on, and wrapping your hands around it.

Well, it's a cheap led strip, so the manual is probably scum.
    Should I buy a 12v strip?
