Hello EVGA,
Before we begin, i would like to congratulate you on the audio qualities of your cards, once again!

The problem is the following, when I play Doom Eternal (because I’m an angry boy), i encounter huge audio distortions
when i set the card to 24bit 176400Hz or 352800Hz and in 32bit 176400Hz or 352800Hz. I use the speaker output (RCA).
I haven’t tried any other settings. The audio bugs appear randomly especially on the first level and at other places in the game.
It didn’t stop me from finishing the game, which is very successful.

My setup is as follows:

Motherboard = Gigabyte Ga-Z270x Ultra Gaming
CPU = I7-7700k (@stock)
RAM = Corsair 16GB DDR4 3200MHz
GPU = MSI GTX 1080ti Gaming X 11Gb (@stock)
SSD = Samsund Evo 960 500 Nvme
Sound Card = EVGA Nu Audio Pro (stereo)
PSU = Cooler Master Gold 800w Pro 80+

I am running Windows 10 1909 with all updated drivers, directx and other updates are made.
Here, hoping to help you, I apologize for my catastrophic English, I’m French.

Thanks.

Are you using the latest release driver for the NU Audio?

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

What about when you use 16-bit 48 kHz or 24-bit 48 kHz? Does the problem still occur, or does the problem go away?

Several times in Doom Eternal I had sound distortions for several seconds.
The card was set to 24\192
the latest drivers 1.0.2, latest windows build.

It's not uncommon for games to not support "HD Audio".

I played the first map for 30 minutes and no issue with 16-bit 48Khz and 24-bit 48Khz during the first level.
You’re right, it’s not common that games do not support "HD Audio".

What is strange is that the audio bug happens 5% of the time, during the rest, the sound is perfect!
Thanks.

I only play games at 24-bit / 48kHz, since most games seem to act up if you set it any higher.  Every once in a while you can run 96kHz, but there's really no benefit.

I wouldn't say that it is a bug.  If the game doesn't support it, it's not a "bug" when it is expected to not work properly.

You may be right, on some maps, even in 32-bit 352800Hz there is no problem.
Still, i find interesting to pull the thing up.
I am in love with this card! That’s why i want to give the info to EVGA.

Same problem here in Doom Eternal with the Nu Audio (NOT Pro) strong distortions with hissing but only for a few seconds (5-10sec)
I have mine set on 32bit 192.000hz (no audio effects) and only happened like 2 or 3 times in 4 hours of gameplay so far.
My firmware v0.31, driver v0.2.1.7 but i also updated to the last one v0.2.1.10 and it still happened. (Intel X79 motherboard)

I wonder if it would be possible to set settings to run when a program is opened. Since some games can have problems with high audio settings it would be great to just have opening the game case the card set to a lower setting that is going to work.

32bit 192.000hz?
Why?
There is no benefit compared to 24-bit 48 kHz.
Use 24-bit 48 kHz for everything and you will never have any problem again.

I have the same issues with Doom and my 7.1 Pro.  It sounds like robotic garbling.
-- Edit --
I should add that I have tried tyger's suggestion and it improves it only slightly.  I can easily reproduce this by using the plasma gun.  Also, at seemingly random times, all sounds from glory kills become distorted until the program is restarted.
