    As long as you have the correct memory slots filled, YES!  1-3-5-7

    X299 Dark doesn't have slots 5 and 7, it has 4 slots total. So are you yanking my chain or you have skipped past the Dark part (my mb) and assumed we are talking about FTW K (your mb)? :)

    It has been a long time since I gave the Dark  that much attention.  As long as you fill the four memory slots, you will get Quad channel memory.  That is one of the advantages of X299

    yes it works perfectly if you use all dimm slot

    Thank you! Yes, by now I was able to confirm that "hands on", with every next slot populated tools showed increase in number of memory channels.
