If you have all your USB turned on in ASUS BIOS, if you can see it in your device manager, it needs a driver to be recognized. Had ASUS Z270 same issue, had to download driver separately. https://www.evga.com/supp...mp;part_number=Default

BIOS all MB USBs on, connect it to the ASUS pump header, change to DC Volts, not AUTO, running at 100% speed, 12VDC AIO do not like reduced voltage. Your Pump header is on automatically. Fans can be set on a AUTO curve. And preferred both fans to be connected to your MB CPU fan headers. With ASUS BIOS PUMP & fans be set to monitor TEMP of CPU. Not matter with pump at 100%, will matter for fan curve.

It is the 2.0 USB connection, that is what it is made for. You will may have damaged the MB trying to put a 2.0 USB device into that 3.0 USB slot on your MB. That 3.0 USB port on your MB is a header for coming from front panel.

Power consumption: USB 2.0 provides up to 500 mA whereas USB 3.0 provides up to 900 mA. The USB 3 devices provide more power when needed and conserve power when the device is connected but idling. USB 3.0 is backwards compatible—meaning it's designed to work with older USB versions including USB 2.0 and USB 1.1. You can plug a USB 2.0 device into a USB 3.0 port and it will always work, but it will only run at the speed of the USB 2.0 technology.

We talking about the motherboard headers not external plug ins. His MB from looking has 2- USB 2.0 at bottom, 1- 3.0 USB header for front panel.

Still trying to get this to work. Device manager now shows Asetek USB Device. I had to manually add the driver from flow control driver folder. I have not seen the CCVI everyone is talking about? Asetek USB Device says device descriptor failed driver provider: Asetek A/S date:10/14/2015 version:6.7.2.0 ERROR: CPUWB - Device not found I saw them talking about a version 6 driver? I'M GOING DEAF TRYING TO FIX MY CLC280 SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP"{}" cannot post web links?? Don't understand why devs couldn't get this fixed after so many problems in the past 5+ years.

I am going relive this since I am having similar problem. CPUWB - Device not found Ran compatibility test that lot hog wash don't option to try run it in Windows 10 nor 11 only windows 8 and below crap. What funny about this I was running EVGA Flow control just fine for like 6-7 months all sudden wake up at 9am turn PC on and get this CPUWB Device not found tiny massage on screen. Ok so like about 6-7 months ago I had my CLCooler RMA so can't be hardware itself but funny thing is I experience stranger than this. Why would a driver that was working fine before on same OS and nothing change to an extreme level that would cause this issue. I need to comprehend why this driver acting up now. It would those need help too. No horse crap just plain trying give a possible solution. BTW cooler seems to be working fine temps are 32*C and ambient are 75*C so there no Overheating which is cool with me, give me understanding pump is working fine. when gaming temps are like 46*C to 50*C with ambient temps @ 75*C. Not bad at all so seems 100% software related.

"Asetek USB Device says device descriptor failed driver provider: Asetek A/S date:10/14/2015 version:6.7.2.0" Honestly I have no idea where that came from. I have had my EVGA CLC 280 0n 7 different motherboards throughout the years, never saw that one, in device manager or otherwise. https://www.evga.com/software/ is the software download page, for the CLC280. https://www.evga.com/support/download/ is the driver page for the CLC 280 support page. Should look like above. What you are looking for.

Yes AIO is Lit and stay lit even if EVGA Flow control is not running. I came across this youtube video is simple enough to not really link here I did PC shut down and waited 30 sec started PC Voila it's working again without CPUWB Device not found. Huh That means I can't put PC to sleep anymore or just restart if I want it working.?

As long as your MB BIOS is running it, I would not lose any sleep over it. MB BIOS has to be running it. Your CPU overheat bigtime if not. It is weird though 7 MBs my part always has worked.
