The spdif-out port I was using for my headphone connection randomly stopped working. I checked several other audio cables to no avail. However i determined the audio cables to not be the issue as my headphones were still working from the pc case built in audio port. I installed the evga soundblaster drivers and peculiarly the audio could be heard without issue when configuring settings from within the program; but when the windows sound output is set to spdif-out i get nothing. Everything looks correct from the device manager. I don't know how else I should continue to diagnosis this issue. Any suggestions?
